The 94th Academy Awards are announced today. The ceremony will take place at 5.30am at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. The list includes 276 films in different languages. ‘The Power of the Dog’ by director Jane Campion topped the list with 12 nominations. This time, three women will be presenting at the Oscars. Bardet’s wife Penelope Cruz and on-screen wife Nicole Kidman are in contention for Best Actress. Competing for Best Picture is the Japanese film Drive My Car. This is the first time a film from Japan has been selected in the Best Film category.
