According to e-vros.gr, the 15-year-old was carrying out work with his father on the roof of the apartment building where he lived and from there he lost his balance and found himself in the air. The father saw his son fall into the void, unable to react, as reported by Thesstoday.gr.
“We are all devastated at the moment. Our souls are at the bottom. Of course I’m a priest and it’s bad to speak like that, but unfortunately at times like this the theological side goes aside and the human side comes out on top.
The father was a little further away, until he saw where John was, he had fallen. He went back probably to take a selfie photo and the fateful thing happened,” the grandfather of the 15-year-old boy told STAR.
A few minutes later, PAOK PAOK, with a post on social media, expressed its condolences to the 15-year-old who lost his life wearing a Dikephalos jersey.
