On a tragic night in Santiago del Estero, The singer Huguito Flores, recognized in the tropical scene, lost his life in a car accident. The fatal incident took place on National Route 34, near the town of Garza, where two vehicles collided head-on in circumstances that are still under investigation.
Flores was traveling in a Volkswagen Suran with his newly married wife, Carina Soledad Enríquez, and his brother-in-law, Rubén Horacio Enríquez. Tragically, all three lost their lives. TAlso present was one of the couple’s three-year-old daughters, who suffered serious injuries and was hospitalized. The other daughter had been left in the care of relatives in La Banda.
As it emerged in the last few hours, Huguito Flores died due to cardiorespiratory arrest as a result of the serious injuries he suffered in the accident. Members of his gang, who were traveling in another vehicle, as well as other passers-by who were passing by the scene, stopped at the time of the accident to help in the rescue efforts.
In the other car involved in the accident, a Fiat Uno, lThe two occupants suffered minor injuries and were taken to the Garza Zonal Hospital.
The singer and his band were heading to Buenos Aires, where They had a series of shows scheduled to celebrate Spring Day. Hours before the tragic accident, Huguito Flores shared a video on social media of him inviting his followers to attend an event in José C. Paz scheduled for September 21. In addition, he had other dates confirmed throughout the province.
The scene of the accident was attended by several ambulances that transported the injured to the Regional Hospital. Firefighters and Criminalistics experts also appeared at the scene to carry out the relevant investigations in order to clarify the causes of the incident.
Prosecutor Martín Silva ordered the presence of the Morguera Unit to carry the bodies of the victims to the morgue.
Alexis Gómez, the artist’s producer, expressed his pain at the loss: «This is very painful. It seems like a tragic movie. Comparisons cannot be avoided, we can name other artists who have reached the top and died like Koli Arce or Jorge Veliz. Now Huguito Flores too. This pain is so great that it reminds us of those moments.
«Huguito was my friend. We didn’t just work together. “He united us with a sincere friendship,” Gomez concluded.
