Russian fighter Shamil Abdurahimov lost by technical knockout to Brazilian heavyweight Jailton Almeida at UFC 283 in Rio de Janeiro, having suffered his fourth early defeat in a row.

The fight ended in the second round.

The last time Abdurahimov won the UFC in April 2019 was in a fight with Pole Marcin Tybura.

Four subsequent fights ended no later than the second round, and in March Abdurahimov lost to compatriot Sergei Pavlovich in the first round.
