As already announced at the end of 2022, the actor and comedian Seth Rogen is developing a new comedy series for Apple TV+titled “The Studio”. It is worth noting that he assumes multiple roles in the production, including creator, protagonist, co-writer, co-director and executive producer.

According to the Deadlinein addition to Rogen, the series will have a large cast, including Catherine O’Hara, Kathryn Hahn, Ike Barinholtz e Chase Sui Wonders. Furthermore, Bryan Cranston, Keyla Monterroso Mejia e Dewayne Perkins may make special appearances.

The plot, it should be noted, will follow the challenges of a Hollywood film studio in an attempt to remain relevant. However, there is still no release date for “The Studio”.

Also according to the Deadline, “The Studio” is the result of a creative partnership between Rogen and Evan Goldbergwith contributions from Frida Perez, Peter Huyck e Alex Gregoryknown for the series “Veep”.

The series in production is a production of Point Gray Pictures (Rogen, Goldberg and James Weaver), in collaboration with Lionsgate. Furthermore, Weaver, Alex McAtee e Josh Fagen are on the team of executive producers.

It’s worth remembering that the series is Rogen’s second project with Apple. Last December, we covered the renewal of the “Platonic Love” series (“Platonic”), designed by him and Rose Byrne.
