The Meteorological Department in Lebanon expected the weather tomorrow to be cloudy to partly cloudy with high clouds, with an additional rise in temperatures on the mountains and the interior, while remaining unchanged on the coast and the continued formation of fog on the heights. The bulletin stated the following:

General status: An area of ​​high atmospheric pressure dominating the eastern basin of the Mediterranean continues until Wednesday evening, when a depression centered south of the island of Cyprus approaches. (The average temperature on the coast for the month of February is between 11 and 19 degrees Celsius).

Expected weather in Lebanon:

Sunday: Partly cloudy to cloudy with no temperature adjustment on the coast, while it rises on the mountains and the interior. Thick fog forms, especially on the heights in the morning and evening, which causes poor visibility.

Monday: Cloudy to partly cloudy with high clouds, with an additional rise in temperatures on the mountains and the interior, while remaining unchanged on the coast, and the continued formation of fog on the heights.

Tuesday: Partly cloudy to cloudy with high clouds, with high temperatures in the coastal areas, while remaining unchanged in the interior and mountainous areas, as the humidity decreases.

Wednesday: Partly cloudy to cloudy with medium and high clouds with a noticeable rise in temperatures that exceed their seasonal rates and return to decrease rapidly from the evening with the approach of an air depression.

Expected temperatures: on the coast from 11 to 20 degrees, over the mountains from 6 to 15 degrees, inland from 4 to 15 degrees.

Surface wind: northwesterly to northeasterly, gusting between 8 and 25 km/hr.

Visibility: moderate, worse at altitude.

– Relative humidity on the coast: between 55 and 80%.

Sea condition: low waves. Water surface temperature: 18 degrees.
