The president of Mexico, Andrew Manuel Lopez Obradorrecognized that the delinquency have “very powerful” groupsfor which he highlighted the importance of communities having the support of federal forces to combat them.
The foregoing was detailed by the Mexican president in the presentation of the Justice Plan for the pueblo Wixaricwhich was held in Mezquiticstate Jaliscowhere he pointed out that the four states he visits this weekend (Zacatecas, Durango, Nayarit and Jalisco) have required the presence of the National Guard.
“We are also very pleased that, contrary to what one might think, they are in the four states asking us for the presence of the National Guard, this is very important because it means that the communities have taken care, they have preserved the tranquility in their towns,” he asserted.
“Nothing more than that there are already very powerful groups in crime and the support of the State is required. Before, nothing else, I don’t know what they call them here, but in Oaxaca they are called topiles, that was enough, but not now, now the topiles are needed, to continue with the tradition, but also with the National Guard,” he said.
Lopez Obrador asked the owner of the Secretary of National Defense (Sedena), Louis Crescent Sandovalto present a comprehensive security plan for said region of Jalisco.
“That we can build the necessary National Guard barracks so that you have security and protection, as you deserve,” he said.
