Men take care of their head and neck more intensively Barthaar, Hairstyle trends are constantly changing, color and perm are topics that are coming back to the table. The Barber Paradox

This is how the trends will change in 2023

“You get away from completely shaved sides or very extreme transitions,” Lukas knows, “but you don’t go so far that you can tie your hair together.” The quick, self-made cut with the cutting machine has also gradually become obsolete. “Today men care more about the end result. They pay attention to details and generally take better care of themselves.” The main thing is that the hair is out of the face? That was once. The barber knows the most successful trends.

Trend 1: Der Bro Flow

The role model of the hour: Bradley Cooper. “That means the top hair stays longer than the sides and is styled slightly and loosely back.” It is important that no area is shaved too short, everything should still be able to move. “Customers tend to want a simple cut that doesn’t look good when styled perfectly.”

Trend 2: The buzz cut

On the other end of the spectrum is the Buzzcut the complete opposite. Styling has become even easier: “You can suddenly do without any products, not even shampoo is absolutely necessary,” says Lukas, explaining the trend. But more and more people are coming to the hairdresser for the cut: “You shouldn’t forget how much work goes into a good buzzcut. When an expert shaves the cut, he starts with two millimeters at the edge, it can be ten at the top, the neck can be shaved down to zero, the ears can be cleanly freed. These transitions are not so easy to imitate at home.”

Trend 3: The mullet

For several seasons it has been in the offing slowly the mullet has also arrived with us. “That’s true, but he only fits a certain group – with a mullet you have to be aware that he only looks good with a good haircut.” The expert warns that an unstyled mullet can quickly look like an unfinished haircut. But if you dare to do the styling, you’ll be riding the wave of trends.

Actor Joe Keery devotes enough time to styling his hair — though he may get some help with it.

Trend 4: Taper Fade

What also comes back: the taper fade. “The front and neck areas of the hair are left to run out cleanly – but without the sides being completely shaved.” You’ve already noticed: Everything that saves work and also forgives if you forget to book a hairdresser appointment in time will be very popular in 2023. Sounds like a relaxing year.
