The Venezuelan Soccer Team will return to action in the new double FIFA date to be held on Thursday, September 22 and Tuesday, September 27, facing Iceland and the United Arab Emirates, respectively, at the Admira Watcher Stadium in Vienna, the capital of Austria.
José Néstor Pekerman, technical director of the national team, published this Friday the list of players who will travel to European lands to play both duels. In it, usual names are observed in the wine-red painting, as is the case of Thomas Rincon, Solomon Rondon, Josef Martinez y Yeferson Soteldo. However, new faces such as the Spanish-Venezuelan Teo Quintero and the young promises of the FutVe League Jean Fuentes, Emerson Ruiz and Cristopher Varela also appear in the call.

Likewise, Pekerman will also have the returns of Alain Baroja and John Paul Yearr to selection. The current Caracas FC players will wear the Vinotinto jersey for the first time since 2020, having performed well in recent months despite the poor results of the Avilanian team.
