They capture in Mexico ‘Boliqueso’, one of the most dangerous drug dealers in the Valley

The National Police confirmed the capture in Mexico City of Eduard Fernando Giraldo, alias Boliqueso, a Colombian capo dedicated to trafficking cocaine to Central America, Europe, the United States and the United Arab Emirates.

After his arrest, “Boliqueso” was deported to Colombia, where the National Police notified him of his capture for the purpose of extradition to the United States, since he is requested by a New York District Court for international cocaine trafficking.

“He was captured by the Colombian Police, he is requested for extradition by the United States. He had belonged to the Cali and Norte del Valle cartels; he committed a crime together with alias Jabón and with the ‘Comba’ brothers. He is responsible for sending several tons of cocaine to the US,” said General Jorge Luis Vargas, director of the National Police.

According to the authorities, this man was the successor to the brothers Javier Antonio and Luis Enrique Calle Serna, known as ‘Los Comba’. In addition, he is pointed out as the articulator of the criminal gang ‘Los Rastrojos’ and head partner of alias ‘Otoniel’ since when the structure under his command was known as the ‘Clan Úsuga’.

Alias ​​Boliqueso, who has 15 years of criminal experience serving other mafia bosses in the world, had already been captured in Brazil in April 2016, where a judge decided to release him in November 2018.

Regarding his capture of Giraldo, General Vargas explained that this occurred in one of the most exclusive sectors of Coyoacán, in Mexico City and, in addition, it was achieved after a follow-up that was carried out on the man for several months in different cities of Mexico.

According to the General, ‘Boliqueso’ would be one of the drug traffickers who, in recent years, has sent more cocaine from Colombia. In addition, his capture is considered the second most important after that of ‘Otoniel’.

“They followed him in Acapulco, Mexico City and other cities where boats, vehicles, luxury apartments were detected; in addition, women who arrived from various countries were followed to locate him. After ‘Otoniel’, this is the second most important capture for the DEA, the authorities of the United Kingdom and Colombia,” commented the Director of the National Police.
