They rescue a Venezuelan migrant in Rio Bravo (+ video)

A group of 20 compatriots were traveling with her to the US border.

The border patrol rescued this Monday a woman, whose nationality is Venezuelan, who was going to be dragged by the current of the Rio Grande.

Rescuers came just as she was clinging to a pillar under a bridge.

Through a video, it was possible to know the moment when they threw a rope next to a lifesaver to get her out of there, where the strength of the current was increasing.

The rescue lasted regarding 20 minutes. For several moments the woman tried to help her, until Grupo Beta entered the river to help her and she reached the life preserver.

A group of 20 Venezuelans were traveling with her, regional authorities said.

It was also learned that the migrants had been robbed by some police elements in Mexican territory.
