When launching the IMSS-Well-being project in Guerrero, Governor Evelyn Salgado Pineda considered that this project will address the lags that are held in health matters in the entity.
During the event held at the Donato G. Alarcón hospital in Ciudad Renacimiento, where the President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, attended, Salgado Pineda affirmed that in Guerrero progress is made through the support of the government of the Republic.
In his message, he pointed out that in the entity there was abandonment of hospitals, where there were only buildings, but there was a lack of doctors and medicines for the most remote communities.
He said that with this project health services are consolidated for everyone and indicated that in Guerrero they support the health model implemented by the government of the Republic, “just as we have done with all the transformative efforts of the government of Mexico.”

The governor added that to meet the needs of the population, they launched the health caravans with which the population from various regions of the entity.
He indicated that currently the IMSS-Benestar, intervenes in 42 hospitals of the entity that are already part of this project and indicated that with “this new model we are going to be addressing the historical lag in health.”
He recognized that it is necessary to do, but he assured that they are taking leaps and bounds with the support of Andrés Manuel López Obrador and thanked the head of the IMSS, Zoé Robledo for materializing this project in Guerrero.
He assured that they will continue looking for all the savings so that the budget reaches and quality care can be given to the population that attends to receive free medical care and said that to achieve this “austerity will be applied”.
Evelyn Salgado, pointed out that 4 years after the transformation “we reaffirm that it is an honor to be with Obrador” and mentioned that they will continue on the path of hope, to stay more in the territory than at the desk.
He promised to keep moving forward on pending issues, that benefit the people of Guerrero, always on the side of the transformation of the people of Mexico
