Leaks have been multiplying for a few weeks about Motorola’s next high-end smartphone, the Motorola Frontier. Expected for the next few months, the smartphone should benefit from a more than solid technical sheet. We expect in particular a fast charge 125 W, a 144 Hz screen and a chip still unpublished from Qualcomm.
After several renderings unveiled by German site WinFuture, it’s the turn of the American leaker Evan Blass to share, on Twitter, images of the Motorola Frontier. Enough to allow you to see it from the front and from the back, but also to discover its edge and its connectors on the lower part of the device.
In a tweet published this Friday, Evan Blass says he got his hands on “a higher quality rendering of the Motorola Frontier with its 194 megapixel sensor”. One of the images, profile view, allows in particular to discover a particularly imposing and thick photo module, in particular at the location of the main photo module. The smartphone would indeed have three devices: two at the bottom and the main device at the top.
A photo module with attractive features
You can also discover the mentions of the characteristics of this main photo module. It should therefore be equipped with a photo sensor of 194 megapixels – a definition still unheard of on the market. You can also find mentions «OIS 1 / 1,5 ″», which allows us to learn that the smartphone will benefit from optical stabilization and that the sensor will have a 1/1.5 inch format. According to WinFuture, the other two cameras would be used for ultra wide-angle (50 megapixels) and telephoto (12 megapixels).
In addition to this prominent photo module, the renderings of the Motorola Frontier allow you to discover its curved screen with a selfie photo sensor centered in a punch, the volume and standby keys on the right edge as well as the speaker, the USB socket -C and the SIM card drawer on the lower edge.
For now, we still do not know when Motorola intends to officially present its future high-end smartphone. We can nevertheless expect a formalization in the course of the summer. It must be said that the smartphone is expected with a Snapdragon chip « SM8475 » still unknown. It could therefore be an evolution of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 unveiled by Qualcomm late last year.
