Through a statement on social networks, the Astrobotic company published an update on the Peregrin ship, which carries with it the Mexican Colmena space project, and which this Thursday will enter Earth to catch fire.

“Peregrin has been operating in space for 10 days and 8 hours and is approximately 30 thousand miles above Earth, continuing its controlled re-entry. The trajectory follows the planned course towards a safe area over open waters in the South Pacific.”

In its message, the company expressed that the ship is stable and operating according to forecasts. “We remain in contact with the relevant government authorities to keep them informed about the ship’s position and planned trajectory, which remains unchanged.”

The company also shared an image of the ship’s return to Earth, and explained that this was achieved by rotating the ship with respect to the Sun.
