The 2029 Asian Winter Games will take place in Saudi Arabia and to do this, Prince Mohamed Bin Salman has started the Neom project which should see the light of day in 2026. In 2020, several members of a tribe would have been forced to leave their house. Three of them have just been sentenced to death, as Middle Easy Eye explains.
Trojena will host the Asian Winter Games in 2029 thanks in particular to this Neom project, where the competition will take place. The project is costed at 500 billion dollars and a tribe called Howeitat bears the cost of the project. This tribe was expelled from its place of residence to make way for the Neom project in 2020. Three members arrested two years ago have just been sentenced to death.
Two other members of the “Howeitat” tribe received long sentences in August: 50 years in prison and a 50-year travel ban. The reason ? For supporting their families who refused deportation.
