According to data from the Argentine Tourism Observatory (OAT), in the provinces of Patagonia, the provincial occupancy average was 90% in Neuquén, Río Negro, Santa Cruz and Tierra del Fuego, Antarctica and the South Atlantic Islands; and 85% in Chubut.

The figures are comparable with other regions of the country. For example, in the north of the country: 95% in Jujuy; 90% in Salta and La Rioja; 89% in Tucuman; 91% in Catamarca; 70% in Santiago del Estero; 65% in Chaco; 92% in Misiones and 95% in Corrientes.

In the central zone of the country, the provincial occupancy average was 95% in Entre Ríos; 94% in Santa Fe; 70% in the City of Buenos Aires (with 94 thousand tourists); 90% in the Province of Buenos Aires, in Córdoba and in San Juan; 95% in St. Louis; 87% Mendoza.
