Tilta Ships the Khronos Creator Kit for OPPO Find X10 Pro Max
Tilta has released the Khronos Creator Kit for the OPPO Find X10 Pro Max, introducing a modular aluminum camera cage system designed to protect the smartphone and expand its physical connectivity for professional video capture. Newsshooter reported that the kit is available now for an introductory price of $512.10 USD.
Quick-Release Snap-In Design and 67mm Filter Adaptability
The core of the system is a camera cage-inspired smartphone case built to shield the device from daily wear and tear. It features an updated quick-release snap-in design that lets users install or remove the case rapidly while keeping connected peripherals securely locked in place. The case accommodates a 67mm Thread Filter Adapter that mounts via a simple slide-and-click mechanism. This adapter allows a single 67mm filter to cover all available lenses on the device, and operators can also mount step-up rings. The kit includes a 67mm Variable ND Filter offering 1 to 5 stops of light reduction.
Modular Accessories Mount Securely Using Integrated Electronic Contacts
Beyond optical filtration, the Khronos case features multiple mounting points secured by a locking clamp mechanism. This hardware foundation supports a variety of modular accessories, including the Focus PD Handle, an SSD Clamp, an On-Board LED Light, and a dedicated USB-C Hub. Integrated electronic contact points run throughout the cage, passing power directly from the Focus PD Handle to accessories mounted on the rig. A 22W variable-frequency heat dissipator manages thermal output. Users can connect this cooling system to an external power source via USB-C or run it off the PD Handle to simultaneously charge the phone and maintain stable operating temperatures during prolonged recording sessions.
Focus PD Handle Links via Bluetooth to Control Camera Operations
The included Khronos Focus PD Handle provides an internal battery that charges via USB-C and supplies auxiliary power to the entire rig through an integrated cable. It links directly to the native OPPO camera app via Bluetooth, allowing operators to control focus or zoom using a physical dial on the front without relying on third-party software. The kit rounds out support options with a lightweight, fast-deploy tripod featuring a one-touch leg mechanism that instantly locks into position upon touching a surface. A height-adjustable center column covers a versatile range of shooting heights, and the tripod doubles as a selfie stick complete with a multi-angle ball head, multiple accessory mounting points, and a compact travel-friendly footprint. Additional items packed into the bundle include a Cold Shoe Receiver, an Adjustable Top Handle, a Mini LED Light, and a dedicated Khronos Carrying Case.
