Today, Friday, in Giza, 7 regions are witnessing an interruption drinking water For a period of 6 hours, and the service weakens in other areas, as the Giza Governorate announced that the Giza Water and Sanitation Company is carrying out connecting works for the new line, diameter 400 mm, flexible cast on the next line, diameter 1000 mm, at the intersection of Awlad Ghoneim Street with Faisal Street, forcing the company to cut Drinking water for 6 hours, starting at 12 pm today, Friday, and until 6 am tomorrow, Saturday.

The company clarified that the areas affected by the outage are (Kafr Tohrmos, Mansheyet al-Bakari, al-Tawwab, Mariouteya from Faisal and its branches, 20th Street and its branches) and weak water starting from Mariouteya to the end of Faisal.

Major General Ahmed Rashid indicated that the work comes within the framework of improving the drinking water facility services and improving pressures in the Kafr Tormos area, stressing the officials of the Giza Drinking Water and Sanitation Company to abide by the announced dates and to re-pump the water naturally as soon as the works are completed.

The company will also operate cars loaded with clean water for drinking purposes to meet the needs of citizens in areas affected by the outage, upon requesting an emergency number (125).
