Yes, the amendment to the Prosecutor’s Office Act, which is one of the ‘complete inspections’ bills promoted by the Democratic Party of Korea, is expected to be processed at the plenary session today.

When National Assembly Speaker Park Byeong-seok failed to reach an agreement at a meeting with the party leaders three days ago, he convened a plenary session of the National Assembly at the request of the Democratic Party and proposed an amendment to the Prosecutor’s Office Act.

The people’s strength against this applied for a ‘filibuster’ and unlimited discussion, but it ended at the end of the session at midnight.

And the plenary session will be held again at 4 pm today.

Amendments to the Prosecutor’s Office Act, which were the subject of a ‘filibuster’, are put to an automatic vote.

If a majority of members present and a majority of members present approve, the bill is passed.

Democrats currently hold 171 seats.

Therefore, the general consensus is that it will not be difficult to pass the bill even if there are some departure votes.

At today’s plenary session, the amendment bill to the Criminal Procedure Act, which is one of the remaining ‘examination and complete measures’ bills, is also scheduled to be proposed.

This is also expected to be voted on at the plenary session on the 3rd of the following month, three days after unlimited discussion, the end of the session at midnight, and the convening of a new extraordinary session of the National Assembly.

The Democratic Party’s plan is to complete the legislation to separate the prosecution’s investigation and prosecution and reduce the investigative powers by promulgating two bills at the cabinet meeting on the 3rd of next month at the earliest through the ‘split session’ method.

The Democratic Party and the power of the people are forced to clash again violently, isn’t it?

How will things go this afternoon?

At 3 pm, an hour before the opening of the plenary session, the Democratic Party and the People’s Power respectively held a general assembly of members.

They are likely to share legislative plans and response strategies.

With the Democratic Party already occupying a majority of 171 seats, it is predicted that the passage of the bill will be easy.

The People’s Power is expected to focus on fighting public opinion by holding anti-pickt protests.

It is also expected to issue a message urging President Moon Jae-in to exercise his veto.

When handling the amendment bill to the Prosecutor’s Office Act, we are also considering ways to display a vote in the plenary session.

If the amendment to the Criminal Procedure Act is proposed, another filibuster will be held.

Rep. Kim Hyung-dong of People’s Strength is determined to strongly emphasize that the Democratic Party’s oversight legislation is a legislative dictatorship as the first hitter.

The Democratic Party also plans to set up a counter-fire, with Rep. Choi Ki-sang participating in the filibuster and explaining the justification of prosecutorial reform.

So far, it has been communicated to the National Assembly. ([email protected])
