A new video viral from TikTok opened the controversy social networks. In the images we see a family moving on electric scooters inside an airport in the U.S. The recording, which already has more than 3 million views, caused all kinds of comments.
through your account @theflylifeofjamiethe user “Jamie” shared a record where five members of a family appear using the “floating shoes” Segway Drift W1 as they headed to their boarding gate to catch a flight.
Within hours, the clip became a trend and netizens identified the family group as the Petersonsan American bluegrass band made up of parents Karen (63) and Jon (64) along with their four children: Katie (32), Ellen (30), Matt (27) and Julianne (21).

However, the video @theflylifeofjamie unleashed numerous criticisms against the Petersons. Why? Well, many netizens described as “humiliating” and “ridiculous” that the American family decided not to walk through the airport facilities.
“So now we’re too lazy to even walk?”; “the ridiculousness of our future generation right there”; “I’m so embarrassed for them and I don’t know why”; “why is walking too hard?”, were some of the opinions.
Faced with the avalanche of negative comments, “Jamie” clarified that he did not record the family in order to humiliate them, but simply found it funny. “I thought it was a startup but I found them on Amazon for $500 being sold by Segway”wrote @theflylifeofjami.
