Totally regional: "GisiReLa" in Eitzing was opened

Local supply in a different way – that’s what the GisiReLa, a regional self-service shop, in Eitzing has been offering for a few days. The fourth shop of this kind was opened there in the Innviertel last Friday. After St. Willibald, Diersbach and Eggerding, this local supplier concept is now also represented in the Ried district. Regional foodstuffs are now traded in the former Raiffeisenbank building.

In GisiReLa delicatessens, gourmets will find a selection of regional foods that no supermarket can offer. 30 Upper Austrian farmers and manufacturers deliver fresh bread and pastries, tasty meat, sausages, healthy dairy products, homemade pasta, clever preserves and high-quality ready meals, snacks and sweets every day – all within a radius of 30 kilometers. Throughout the week, connoisseurs will find a wide variety of delicacies here without having to visit several farmer’s markets or farm shops, as the operators assure you.

So that regional food remains affordable and the producers also receive a fair price, GisiReLa relies on lean structures in the regional shop, as the operators say. In just 30 square meters, the customer serves himself – and collects – himself. An easy-to-use cash register allows both ATM and cash payments and gives change. Should a problem arise, an employee will help you over the telephone.
