The Chinese Ministry of Commerce announced on Friday that it would limit its international exports of graphite, an essential component for the manufacture of batteries for electric vehicles. This decision, in the name of “national security”, comes a few days following the United States decreed new restrictions on semiconductors and machinery to China.
