Tragedy in the African Cup. A stampede of fans trying to access the Paul Biya stadium in Cameroon to watch the match between the National Team of that country and its counterpart from Comoros, corresponding to the round of 16 of the aforementioned soccer tournament, has left a balance of six people dead and 40 injured, according to the latest official data.
The unfortunate event occurred in the city of Yaoundé, prior to the confrontation. According to some versions of the events, everything happened as a result of a security guard decided to open one of the doors of the building. From what can also be seen in different videos that have gone viral through social networks, it was at that moment when different people decided to take advantage of the opportunity, rush towards the access and try to enter to see the commitment without having previously paid a ticket.
