Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Tweeters interacted on the “X” platform (formerly Twitter) with the brilliance of Roberto Firmino, player of Al-Ahly Jeddah Club, in his first appearance in the Saudi Professional League.
The Brazilian striker succeeded in leading his team to victory at the expense of Al-Hazm Club, with three goals to one, in the matches of the first round of the “Roushen” league for the 2023/24 season.
Firmino scored his team’s three goals, in the 6th, 10th and 72nd minutes, to succeed in scoring his first hat-trick with the team.
Roberto Firmino, who joined Al-Ahly Jeddah club during the current summer transfer market, told the Saudi “SSC” channel, after the end of the match: “It is a very wonderful start for the team in the league. The most important thing was achieving the three points. We will continue to present this performance to win the next matches.”
The Brazilian striker pointed to the impact of the crowd, as many of his team’s supporters were present in the first match of the recently promoted club to the top flight.
