Two individuals got into a fight on the Albertlaan in Ninove. One of them, Nico, a 46-year-old man, lost his life. On Wednesday, another man, GF, in his 40s, was arrested by the police. It’s regarding a Salsa singer who has lost everything.
According to his relatives, the man would have serious alcohol problems and experienced a real descent into hell. According to the Nieuwsblad, he was drunk at the time, just like the victim. GF is known to law enforcement for all types of public drunkenness and assault. The police also had to intervene several times at his home for acts of domestic violence.

GF a Dutchman who lives in Brussels, was once a singer in a Dutch Latin music and salsa band. “He’s not a difficult guy, but he wasn’t very good musically,” according to the band. He retired regarding six years ago.
One of his cousins speaks to the Nieuwsblad: “Things were not going well with him, when he spoke, it was gibberish. I told him to stop drinking. But in and of itself, he’s not a bad boy.”
