Only five months ago, François Leon E. and Maria Alfonsine bought a luxury villa in Phuket where they lived with their son Patrick and their daughter-in-law named Jongchit, explain our colleagues from HLN.
While they were supposed to get up to eat their lunch, François and Maria did not show up at the table. Astonished, their daughter-in-law went to look in their room and found the wife’s body lying on the bed covered with a blanket.
Dispatched to the scene, the emergency services discovered that the door to the couple’s bedroom was locked but that the room was accessible through a sliding glass window.
For their part, the police discovered the body of the husband in the bathroom. According to her, the two deaths occurred approximately 12 hours ago.
Considering the deaths suspicious, the police opened an investigation with three possible leads: a double suicide, a murder and a suicide or a double homicide.
