Amid great efforts by the Public Investment Fund to develop the local industry and meet the increasing local demand for iron products within the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, the Investment Fund announced its acquisition of the largest iron industry company in the Kingdom, “Hadeed”, which in turn acquired the “Al-Rajhi Steel” company, in exchange for Increasing the capital and subscribing to new shares in the “Hadeed” company, as the production of the two companies together reaches more than 8 million tons annually.
