Hong Kong International Airport is running a campaign to provide free round-trip air tickets to Korean travelers.
This campaign is part of the ‘World of Winners’ campaign, which provides 500,000 round-trip air tickets to travelers from all over the world to visit Hong Kong to promote Hong Kong tourism.
The campaign for Korean travelers will start on the 16th, and 24,000 tickets will be provided.
Four airlines in Hong Kong, including Cathay Pacific, Hong Kong Express, Greater Bay and Hong Kong Airlines, split the fare to provide economy class round-trip tickets from Seoul, Jeju, and Busan.
On the 13th and 14th, a Hong Kong ticket giveaway event and a pop-up experience zone for Hong Kong travel will be held at Open Stage on the 1st floor of Shinsegae Central City, Seocho-gu, Seoul.
Hong Kong Airport Authority Chief Operating Officer Vivian Cheung held a press conference at Dragon City in Seoul on the 11th and announced these contents.
He said, “I have prepared more without stopping for three years (pandemic),” and said, “This campaign is meaningful in that it reminds me of Hong Kong once again.”
Those wishing to receive air tickets can participate through the event website of Hong Kong International Airport or the website designated by the relevant airline.
However, the winner must bear the fuel surcharge and tax required for ticket use.
