Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce flashed his detailed gold wedding band during the season five premiere of his New Heights podcast on Wednesday, Sept. 2, opening up about his July 3 marriage to Taylor Swift in an intimate ceremony at Madison Square Garden.
Showing Off the Ring and Reliving the Big Day
More than two months after Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce crashed all your social feeds with their reportedly lavish, but extremely locked-down wedding at New York’s Madison Square Garden, the 36-year-old NFL star returned to his and brother Jason Kelce’s New Heights podcast for a new season on Wednesday, Sept. 2. Not a single photo of the dress, the ceremony, the afterparty or really any other salient details have leaked from either Swift or Kelce’s camp in one of the most impressive displays of message discipline in recent pop history.
In a minute-long preview clip that went up early Wednesday, Jason Kelce, 38, opens the show by low-keying the event heard ’round the world, declaring, Interesting bit of the offseason … you’re finally married!
Travis then proudly holds up his golden wedding band and confirms, I am a married man, yep.
While Travis has been spotted rocking the ring at training camp for the Kansas City Chiefs, he hasn’t given fans such a close-up shot of his shiny new accessory until now. The ring has an engraved criss-crossed pattern, wrapping around the band and features stunning details.

The season premiere of their New Heights podcast just dropped, and yes, they talked about the biggest event of their off-season: Travis’s wedding to Taylor Swift. While we still don’t have any photos or videos from the nuptials, which took over Madison Square Garden (and all our Instagram feeds) over the Fourth of July weekend, we did get some new insider information from the groom himself… Including the one thing he’d change about the evening. It’s a night we’ll never forget,
he said, speaking to his brother, Jason, about the ceremony. “Me and Taylor are so thankful for everybody that showed up, from the vows to just seeing everyone, to how much fun we had throughout the entire evening and hearing that be relayed through everybody’s stories of the night. And it was just so magical, man.”
His only regret? I wish it could have lasted even longer than it did. It felt like it just happened in the blink of an eye.
They kicked us out,
Jason noted, to which Travis explained, Well, once the drinks stopped being served, everyone kinda just starts to…
Transitioning Back to the Gridiron
Travis Kelce is officially back at Arrowhead Stadium—and the newlywed hardware came with him. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end was photographed wearing his wedding ring Saturday, August 15, as he arrived for the team’s first preseason game against the Los Angeles Rams. The appearance came just over a month after Kelce and Taylor Swift married in front of roughly 1,000 guests at Madison Square Garden on July 3. According to People, Kelce, 36, entered the stadium wearing a black button-up with a gold pattern and matching pants, accessorizing with a watch, bracelet, and a thick gold wedding band. Swift, also 36, debuted her own wedding band one week after the ceremony, when she and Kelce attended former Chiefs teammate JuJu Smith-Schuster’s wedding to Laura Kruk.

Kelce’s return to Arrowhead also marks a sharp transition from the spectacle surrounding the wedding back to his day job. He reported to Chiefs training camp on July 29, and head coach Andy Reid—who attended the ceremony—has already found a way to connect the two. Asked last month about Kelce arriving at camp in shape despite his unusually busy offseason, Reid commented on the situation as the tight end settled back into football.
