At least 15 destroyed trucks left a large arson attack recorded this Thursday morning in the Los Álamos commune, in the Bío Bío region. The attackers fired several times and threatened the workers.

The event occurred in the Villa Los Ríos sector, in an aggregates companywhere a large number of shots were also reported.
This is about five kilometers from where officials of the Police Control and Public Order. In addition, it is meters from Route 160.
Apart from the shots, neighbors reported two forest trucks blocking access to the sectorwhich were left by attackers on the spot.
“Attack in Los Álamos: “They pointed at me (…) they kicked me”
Radio Bío Bío went to the site of the attack and spoke with the workers who were inside the premises, who confirmed that the attackers they carried a large number of firearms.
“I heard the pure shotswho started shooting (…) I started for the pines”, said a neighbor who was close to the sector.
“They pointed at me, they threw me down, they kicked me”said one of the workers, who pointed out that those responsible told him that if he moved to another site, they would kill him.
The provincial delegate went to the place of the attack, as well as personnel from Control and Public Order of Carabinieri. Firemen also came to control the flames.
From the National Confederation of Truck Owners of Chile they reacted through their Twitter account, pointing to an increase in acts of violence against the truckers.

In 2018 it was registered another arson attack at the same point, where 14 destroyed trucks were destroyed, leaving $1.4 billion in losses.
