Pumas will have an old acquaintance as coach, After the board decided that Ricardo “Tuca” Ferretti becomes the successor of Andrés Lillini, from the Closing Tournament 2023.
The Pumas board met this Friday October 7 to decide the future of the technical direction and among the options that have been analyzed, the one that seems most indicated, according to the current status of the team, is the one that represents the return of the 68-year-old coach; in this way, Tuca Ferretti will manage the team he has been linked since he was a player.
Ricardo will return already converted into one of the technicians with the most titles in Mexican soccer with 7 in his showcase, tied with the historic Ignacio Trelles at the top of the table; Five of those titles were with Tigres, one with Chivas and the other with the UNAM club.
