Turkish Health announces that the number of earthquake victims has risen to 5,434 deaths and 31,777 injured

Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca announced that the death toll had risen earthquake To 5,434 and the injured to 31,777, stressing that about 2,500 doctors have been sent to the areas affected by the earthquake.

“We have established an air bridge with the affected area and used all our logistical means to transport aid,” Koca said in a press conference.

Today, Tuesday, the US Geological Survey announced that a 5-magnitude earthquake had been recorded in southern Kahramanmaraş Turkeyaccording to the media.

Earlier, the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority announced today, Tuesday, that the death toll from the earthquake had risen to 4,544, and 26,725 injured, according to Turkish media.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan declared a three-month state of emergency in 10 provinces in the southeast of the country, which were hit by a massive earthquake that killed thousands.

Relief operations in the isolated area near Syria are facing obstacles due to a strong storm that made some roads impassable and slowed down the delivery of food and aid.
