“Twin Jet Launches New Direct Flight Between Toulouse and Rennes: Everything You Need to Know”

A new airline will connect Toulouse and Rennes, capital of Brittany, with four flights per week, from the end of May 2023. (©Illustration / AdobeStock)

The French regional airline Twin Jet has just announced the opening of a new regular line in between Toulouse-Blagnac airport et Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine). This direct link between the capitals of Occitania and Brittany “will be operational from May 30, 2023″, she specifies.

Business travelers and tourists

In a press release, Twin Jet explains that this line “strengthens its presence on the regional market in France and is part of a strategy to develop its network to meet the needs of its customers”.

The company specifies that it is intended both to “business travellers” than to “passengers in search of new destinations”. For Toulouse residents, Rennes is indeed a gateway to many tourist destinations on the Breton coast. The flights will be operated by a Beechcraft 1900D.

After Marseilles and Metz

This is the third regular destination for Twin Jet from the Pink City, since the company already serves Marseilles (Mouths-du-Rhone) et Metz (Moselle). In total, it currently offers 11 regular lines in France and Europe.

What are the flight times

Between Toulouse and Rennes, Twin Jet flights will be operated four days per week: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays et thursdays. From Toulouse to Rennes, departure is scheduled for 7 a.m. and arrival at 8:30 a.m. From Rennes to Toulouse, departure at 9 a.m., arrival at 10:30 a.m. Remember that this connection between the two cities is also provided by the company Easyjet.

Twin Jet wants to expand its network

“Convinced that this new line will meet with great success”, Eric MoretCEO of Twin Jet, shows his desire to continue to « invest in our network to offer our passengers direct connections between territories”, even though voices are being raised, in Toulouse as elsewhere in Europe, to put a brake on domestic flights in the face of global warming.
