The two Russians were to make an exit of approximately 6 hours and 30 minutes to attach three debris shields to the Rassvet module.
They also had to carry out tests to verify the solidity of a work platform which must be attached to the end of the European robotic arm.
This is the 10th spacewalk in 2023 for the international team aboard the ISS.
