Two people were killed in a plane crash during an air show in Székesfhérvár, Hungary, on Sunday afternoon. As the Hungarian news agency MTI reported, it was a father and his son. They were sitting in a Trojan T-28 plane and had no chance of surviving the crash. Three other people were injured, some seriously.
According to the online portal “Feol.hu”, the pilot began a maneuver at too low a speed, after which the plane crashed and exploded. The plane is said to have hit next to a family’s car, leaving a child and two adults suffering severe burns and being flown to a hospital in rescue helicopters. The air show was canceled and a large number of rescue workers were deployed. The accident occurred at the airfield in Börgönd, near the town of Székesfehérvár.
