Two-year-old boy drowned in the Yuruari River

The infant was admitted to the Dr. Juan Germán Roscio Hospital, in El Callao, without vital signs.

A two-year-old boy died due to immersion in the Yuruari River, in the town of El Callao, in the south of Bolívar state.

The infant was playing with a ball in his house, located on the main street of the Mata Palo sector, on the followingnoon of this Saturday, May 28.

The ball went into the river and the minor followed it, falling into the water and drowning following getting stuck in a branch.

Relatives noticed his absence and notified neighbors to help him, but he had died at the scene.

The minor was identified as DY González Villarroel, who was transferred to the Dr. Juan Germán Roscio Hospital, where it was confirmed that he had no vital signs.
