Typhoon No. 7 hits Obon directly. From the 13th (Sunday) to the 16th (Wednesday), there is a risk of heavy storms mainly in western and eastern Japan. After the typhoon, it is intense heat in various places. Take all possible measures against heat stroke.
First half: 11th (Friday) to 17th (Thursday) Typhoon No. 7 will hit Obon directly
It will be sunny in many places, mainly in western Japan, until the 12th (Saturday), but the atmospheric conditions will become unstable due to the effects of humid air. It looks like it’s going to rain and thunderstorms in places. From Kyushu to Tohoku, there are places where the maximum temperature rises to about 40°C, and the rise in temperature will make it easier for rain clouds to develop. Please be aware of changes in the sky when enjoying outdoor leisure activities. Due to the approach of Typhoon No. 7, the Ogasawara Islands will experience very strong winds, and caution against storms and high waves is required.
After the 13th (Sun), Typhoon No. 7 will also affect the area around Honshu. The Izu Islands will experience strong winds from the 13th (Sun) to the 14th (Mon), and there is a possibility of storms.
