UAE’s astronaut Sultan Al Niadi on final leg of mission Niadi will reach Earth next month following completing its mission. On the 3rd of next month, it will be six months since Niadi reached the Bahikakasa Nilayam. Niadi will return to Earth in the last week of August or early September. The return date has not been officially announced. At the same time, Al Niadi has already achieved the feat of being the first person of Arab origin to spend the most days on the International Space Station.

Niadi reached the space station last March 3. Sultan also holds the record for walking in space for seven hours. Repairs to the space station and installation of new solar panels were completed during the walk.

Every day, Al Niadi shares rare images from the space station, located 400 kilometers from Earth. Many times he interacted with experts and students from various fields in the UAE from space. Along with other NASA scientists, Sultan participated in over 200 experiments. UAE Niadi is preparing for his return journey by conducting 19 more experiments for the universities.
