According to the website xfire.comin an article about upcoming titles Ubisoft to come published last march 21, several new unannounced games would be in preparation at the French developers. Among them, a sequel to Immortals Fenyx Rising would currently be in intensive development after a first episode with satisfactory sales for the firm, the first having been released on Nintendo Switchthe probability that its sequel will do the same is high.
Ubisoft was apparently happy with the performance ofImmortals Fenyx Rising in 2020, and I have been informed that a sequel is in development.
The title is in its pre-production phase and presumably in development by Ubisoft Quebec, which is also working on a new Assassin’s Creed.
Recently, the studio signed on talent for the title, but no further details were provided.
Plus, a new episode of Prince of Persia (in addition to the remake already announced) would also be in development at Ubisoft. It would be a 2.5 D title returning to the sources of the saga and drawing its inspiration from the games or from Moon Studios. Here is what the leaker has to say about this game:
A second Prince of Persia title is reportedly in the works at Ubisoft, with Ubisoft Montpellier being involved in the project. The game has been described as drawing inspiration from Ori and will be a 2.5D game.
Additional details on this title were slim, but I hope to reveal more shortly. Nonetheless, it looks like Ubisoft is actively working on a second Prince of Persia title.
