LONDON∙ The Yukma National Committee is organizing a competition to decide the logo for the Yukma Keralapuram Vallamkali 2023. The winning logo of the logo competition will be the official logo of the 5th Yukma Keralapuram Vallamkali 2023. The national leadership has decided to give a 100 pound cash award and a plaque to the logo competition winner. Last date for logo submission is 3rd August.
The boat race will be held on August 26 at Rotherham Manvers Lake near Sheffield, South Yorkshire. In 2019 and 2022, the Yukma Keralapuram boat race was held at Manvers Lake itself. Last year, more than 7000 people came as spectators to the boat race. Yukma Keralapuram Vallamkali 2023 general convener Adv. AB Sebastian informed. National Vice President Shijo Varghese will be in charge of the boating competition from the Yukma National Committee.
The Yukma National Committee under the leadership of Mamman Philip successfully organized the Yukma Keralapuram Vallamkali in 2017 and 2018, and in 2019 under the leadership of Manoj Kumar Pillai, after the 2020 and 2021 seasons that could not be held due to covid, in 2022 Dr. Officials said that under the leadership of Biju Peringathara, Yukma Keralapuram Vallamkali was organized with a lot of people’s participation.

Manvers Lake and associated parks can accommodate up to 10,000 spectators. There is also the facility of uninterrupted viewing of the race from any part of the lake where the boat race is held. The main stage and restaurants will be set up on the surrounding lawn. There will also be an opportunity to watch boat races and stage programs from the same venue. And for over 3,000 cars, coaches will have separate parking facilities. Yukma Keralapuram Boat Race is organizing a whole day of fun and enjoyment during the school holidays.
