Start with what? With the prayer on the cell wall, scrawled in old Church Slavonic, the salutation “Our Father” in double capital letters? With the meandering black tracks on the wall of the interrogation cell, they apparently come from an electric cable that was being swung with great force? Or with the pale reddish stains on the wall opposite, the origin of which is clear and needs no further comment?
