A wonderful story was known on social networks, about a family from New York, USA, who, incredible as it may seem, found their lost dog months ago, at a pet adoption fair.
The idea was to get a new member for the house, which motivated the family clan to visit a pet adoption fair located in Union Square Park, Manhattan, upon arriving at the event called Paw In The Park, a pitbull breed dog, similar to to his previous dog, caught his attention.
It took a few seconds for the family to realize that the dog was ‘Mocha’, their faithful pet, who recognized them immediately.
“We were in town and heard about this event and as we were driving we said ‘let’s check it out’ we had enough time and decided to take a drive over there and take a look, not expecting to find Mocha. It was just taking a look to see if we could find a pup. And as soon as we entered, she was there,” the owner of the animal told the outlet. Daily News.
When they saw her, they began to call her by her name, with the dog reacting with jumps, revealing the connection.
In the same way, the family proved that they were the true owners of Mocha, exhibiting photographic records that verified the version.
“She is overprotective, she protects the family, the garden. He bites a lot. If you’re going to pet her, the number one thing for her is to lie on her back. If you don’t stroke her tummy, she will start to nibble on you. She is a very active dog. She loves the water, she loves to swim,” she added.
How did Mocha get lost? The man stated that due to a trip, he had been left in the care of a dog walker, upon returning they never heard from him or his pet, they tried to contact him but he never answered the calls, not knowing what had happened to the dog.
