Al-Marsad Newspaper: The developed social security system revealed 8 cases in which the pension is stopped for beneficiaries, according to Article 17 of the system, after the Ministry of Human Resources announced yesterday the exclusion of 7,300 people last month.

The cases included the following:

1/ If one of the eligibility conditions is not met.

2/ If it is proven to the Ministry that the data provided on the freelancer or the family is incorrect.

3/ If the beneficiary is late in updating his personal data required by the Ministry for a period exceeding (thirty) days from the date he was notified of the request to update it.

4/ If it is proved that the eligible beneficiary did not comply with his rehabilitation plan.

5/ If it is proven that the beneficiary who is able to work is not looking for work, or did not apply to the employment platforms approved by the Ministry, and the like, or did not accept the appropriate job and training offers, as determined by the regulations.

6/ If the beneficiary resides permanently in a residential or treatment center.

7/ If the beneficiary waives the pension.

8/ In the event of the death of the beneficiary.

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development had stopped disbursing social security pensions to more than (7,300) beneficiaries in last month’s batch, whose ages ranged between 18 and 40 years. For violating one of the conditions for disbursing the pension, and for proving that they are not serious about empowerment, and for refusing the job opportunities offered to them by the Human Resources Development Fund (goal).
