The accident of the Unebús Dolores-Guanajuato occurred at the height of Ojo de Agua de Calvillo, ahead of the Sierra de Santa Rosa

Guanajuato.- This afternoon a trailer took a passenger truck that was covering the route off the road Dolores Hidalgo-Guanajuato. The truck overturned and fell into a ravine, leaving one dead and 19 injured.
Of the 19 people injured, only 11 required to be taken to a hospital. For this reason, seven were transferred to the IMSS emergency medical clinic in Guanajuato capital, six more to Dolores Hidalgo: one to the IMSS and 5 to the General Hospital of that city.
This circulated ahead of the Sierra de Santa Rosa at the height of the community Calvillo Water Eye, around 2:30 p.m. At that moment, a trailer caused the transport unit to leave.
The vehicle fell into a ravine and was left on its side, this caused one person to lose their life immediately. The calls for help reached the emergency center and were channeled to all the rescue areas.

Unebús accident attended in Dolores-Guanajuato
A mobilization of fire units, Civil Protection, the Red Cross, private medical service ambulances from both the city of Guanajuato and Dolores Hidalgo, in addition to SUEG units, was implemented.
The person who unfortunately lost his life would be an 83-year-old man from the city of Dolores Hidalgo.
The highway had to be closed for more than two lanes to allow first aid work for paramedics. This generated intense traffic.
The bus was overturned on its left side between the hill. In the place there were at least 13 units of the different rescue forces. The wounded were taken to the capital Guanajuato and to Dolores Hidalgo.
Public Ministry personnel took charge of carrying out the corresponding investigations. Once they were finished, SEMEFO personnel removed the body from the scene, while with the help of crane units, the truck was removed from the ravine and removed from the scene to unblock the road.
Trailer driver arrested
After the accident, the driver of the trailer tried to escape but drivers from other units of the Flecha Amarilla company detained him and turned them over to the Preventive Police. After this they took him to the railing in Guanajuato capital.

Members of the National Guard, in collaboration with the Preventive Police of the capital, carried out the pertinent inquiries and insured the driver. This is identified as Juan Antonio “N” and is originally from the State of Hidalgo. Later they took him to the Preventive Commissioner in the capital Guanajuato where he was placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry.
