When he left the store, Stuart couldn’t believe it. He was so shocked that he couldn’t help but call his best friend, Dave Hopson. “I just came to grab a few beers to fill my fridge. Sainsbury’s is usually pretty good, but there wasn’t much besides ten cans of Peroni. I thought, ‘Oh, I’ll buy one as a gift before I go to Asda and see what they have to offer.’ I took the can of Peroni to the self-checkout and scanned the beer and it showed up to 6 pounds (6.91 euros),” explains Stuart.
When he left, the forty-year-old couldn’t believe his eyes. “I walked out thinking, ‘Was that what I saw?’ I checked my account in the parking lot and it was there, so I called my friend back and he said he would meet me there and see if it happened again with more beers,” Stuart said. . “We finally brought back 54 boxes. We left very happy,” he adds.
