In statements to Cairo News, Salim Owais, a UNICEF official in North Africa, denounced the damage to schools and health centers in Gaza.
He said that medical teams are facing great difficulties in providing health services following the Israeli occupation bombing, calling for a ceasefire so that the organization can assess the situation and deliver aid.
The UNICEF official also called for relief workers to be allowed to reach the most needy children and families in the Gaza Strip.
