Universal Horror Unleashed Brings Back Krampus & Kin for 2026 Holiday Season

Universal Horror Unleashed in Las Vegas is bringing back its Krampus & Kin holiday experience for a second seasonal run, expanding its lineup of European folklore monsters. Running on select nights from November 19, 2026, to January 10, 2027, the event transforms the year-round attraction into a winter wonderland featuring new characters, themed food stalls at the Krampus Haus beer garden, and immersive holiday-horror zones starting at $14.99 plus tax for a Fraidy Cat ticket.

The Krampus & Kin Expansion Details

  • The 2026 seasonal event runs one week longer than its inaugural run, concluding on January 10, 2027.
  • New additions to the creature lineup include the Welsh skeletal horse spirit Mari Lwyd, Germanic woodland figure Hans Trapp, and Alpine witch Frau Perchta.
  • Admission includes access to transformed venue zones, character processions ending at a 22-foot black Christmas tree, and optional dining passes for Krampus Haus.

Winter Folklore Characters Join the Yuletide Legends Area

The upcoming seasonal event in Las Vegas builds upon the foundation established during its 2025 debut, which ran from November 15, 2025, through January 3, 2026. Tickets start at $14.99 plus tax for the Fraidy Cat tier, which grants entry while skipping the venue’s haunted houses.

Visitors walking through the Yuletide Legends area near the Krampus Haus beer garden will encounter six distinct winter creatures. Returning figures include Krampus, the Icelandic troll Grýla, and the Greek goblin Kallikantzaroi. Three new entities join them for the 2026 season: Mari Lwyd, a horse’s skull on a pole from Welsh tradition; Hans Trapp, a weathered Alsatian woodland figure; and Frau Perchta, an ancient Alpine witch who punishes untidy homes.

Nightly festivities feature a lantern-lit musical procession that guides the creatures through the warehouse. The march culminates in a dramatic lighting ceremony around a towering 22-foot black conifer tree. Guests can also utilize designated photo spots, including Krampus’s skull-encrusted throne and Grýla’s cauldron.

Holiday Makeovers Across Venue Zones

The indoor warehouse spaces situated between the attraction’s four permanent haunted houses undergo a total holiday-horror transformation, introducing distinct narrative zones.

The area shifts into Frost Bite, an icy realm ruled by the Vampire Frost Queen. New for 2026, the queen is joined by the Vampire Frost Stalker and Frost Guard, who hunt guests alongside roaming frostbitten victims. Meanwhile, the Kill Vault area becomes Kill Vault Video, a retro rental shop stocked with holiday-horror films overseen by a video store manager with sinister intentions.

In the prop graveyard space between The Boiler and Premiere House, the setting becomes Home for the Horrordays. An idyllic ’90s holiday house has been infiltrated by a twin brother and sister hosting a gruesome celebration with their disturbed friends. Additionally, Premiere House hosts a Demented Circus run by Jack the Clown and his Maniacs, featuring rock music, specialty acts, and theatrical kills.

Bavarian-Style Dining and Festive Drink Offerings

Jack’s Alley transforms into Krampus Haus, a pop-up Bavarian-style beer garden offering themed food items and specialty cocktails. Diners utilize a Krampus-themed Dining Pass redeemable for four total food servings across four distinct stalls.
