A situation that has the blue world worried, since, hours after the start of the second semester, a reinforcement has not yet arrived in the pass market to strengthen the squad, something that draws the attention of the coach Mauricio Pellegrino.

Since the end of the first semester, the rumor of a possible sale of Darío Osorio to European football has taken over the media, considering that it may be the option to obtain resources and thus be able to reinforce.
Something that does not go down well with Pellegrino, who assures that he has drawn the attention of the club for this situation.
“Sales cannot be planned, because it is not up to you that they come tomorrow for any player to want to pay for it. In most cases, if they pay, they will leave. It does not depend on us”, comments Pellegrino.
Of course, it points to the difference in the markets of the possible teams that have sounded like a future for Osorio, which are not in line with the dates that are handled in Chilean soccer.
“What I have been busy telling the club is that the markets in the big leagues or in Europe end until August 30. A player like Dario could leave on August 28 or 29 and if I have to wait for that date to sign a player they don’t give the terms. If I have to wait to sell and then bring, we are wrong, ”he launched with all the Argentine.

For this reason, the coach of Universidad de Chile has made it clear that he has already made his suggestions for reinforcements: “It is not so much a question for me, I have spoken with Manuel and the president about the team’s needs and the club is working on it”
“These are the negotiations that take time. We have talked about footballers and some possibilities, especially in the Chilean market. We have seen players from abroad, but due to the difficult salary and those who are here, to play in the U, they are important and it is not easy to bring them. The possibilities are limited and neither can any footballer come. He has to be someone who performs immediately, ”he specifies.

One issue that he wanted to make clear, since Universidad de Chile has a full quota of foreigners, is that they are not looking for any of those who are part of the club today.
Nery Domínguez, Federico Mateos, Emmanuel Ojeda, Leandro Fernández and Cristián Palacios are the blue foreigners, who will not see a way out, at least, in this market.
“We have never valued taking any out, because it is already difficult to bring them. Our foreigners add performance to us, with their pluses and minuses, but we have never talked about that possibility. What we wanted was to speed up the citizenship process for Mateos, which was fair, but if it was given before the book of passes it could be an option to incorporate, but never with the departure of one of them and even less with an injury to Leandro”, he concludes.
