The song from the movie ‘Malikappuram’ directed by debutant Vishnu Sasi Shankar starring Unni Mukundan as the lead role has been released. The crew has recreated the famous ‘Harivarasanam’. The song is sung by Prakash Puthur. The film has received Clean U certificate. The film will hit theaters on December 30, 2022.
According to the makers, Prakash was selected from around a thousand singers to sing the song, which is produced by Ranjin Raj Music Production.
The trailer of the film which was released next and the song which starts with the lyrics ‘Ganapati Thunayaruluka’ was well liked by the audience. The film is jointly produced by Anton Joseph’s An Mega Media and Venu Kunnapilli’s Kavya Film Company.
Vishnu Sasishankar is the son of director Sasishankar who made films like Narayam, Kunhikoonan and Mr. Butler. The editing of the film is done by Vishnu.
Written by Abhilash Pillai. This is a screenplay by Abhilash Pillai after Patham Valav, Night Drive and Kadavar. Apart from Unnimukundan, Indrans, Manoj K Jayan, Saiju Kurup, Ramesh Pisharati, Sampath Ram, Sreepath, Devananda and Alfie Panjikaran are also playing the lead roles in the film.
The film tells the story of Malikapurathamma, an Ayyappa devotee. This is a fantasy family drama movie. Child actors Sripath and Devananda have played important roles in the film. Devananda has handled the title role.
