Urgent guidance from the Public Prosecution regarding the abuse of a maid by 3 women and a man in Hail

Al-Marsad newspaper: An official source in the Public Prosecution stated that, according to what was published in a newspaper about the beating of a housemaid by three women and a man who worked for them, the Public Prosecution directed the competent control authority to urgently complete the procedures for arrest and inference and refer the case to the Public Prosecution According to Articles (24-27-28) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

The source indicated that, according to the aforementioned report, she is a fugitive from her original employer, her “guarantor”, and works with the perpetrators without a legal document, which allowed the perpetrators to exploit, assault and drive her out of the house without enabling her of her legal rights.

The source noted that the Public Prosecution also directed that the aforementioned be referred to the competent shelter to receive the necessary care in accordance with Article 15 of the anti-trafficking system.

The source stressed the inviolability of the felony against persons, and that assaulting or exploiting them requires criminal accountability, stressing at the same time the need to adhere to the regulations and laws regulating the work relationship, and that failure to comply with them may result in the exploitation of the worker or the felony or depriving him of his rights guaranteed by law.
